Robin Foret is the Managing Partner of The Foret Law Firm in Dallas, Texas, and is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Robin is a litigator with an emphasis on labor and employment issues, but also handles commercial disputes. She routinely represents clients in a variety of employment-related and commercial matters in state and federal court and before administrative agencies. Her experience with employment-related matters includes, but is not limited to: theft of trade secrets; breach of employment agreements; discrimination, harassment and retaliation; the FMLA; wage and hour issues under the Fair Labor Standards Act; FINRA related matters; severance agreements; and, whistleblower claims under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Robin also provides litigation prevention advice and training to numerous companies, which includes developing and providing industry specific guidance on various employment-related issues. Robin is a frequent speaker, and an author of employment-related articles and blogs for the on-line publication www.hrresource.com. Robin received her law degree from Temple University School of Law in 1991, where she graduated cum laude. As a student at Temple, she served as the Articles/Symposium Editor of the Temple Law Review, where she had an opportunity to organize and coordinate a symposium on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Robin is an AV® rated attorney (the highest rating available) by Martindale-Hubbell's Peer Review Ratings. Randall M. Foret is a Partner with The Foret Law Firm in Dallas, Texas. His law practice focuses on complex business and securities litigation, as well as oil and gas and energy-related issues. Randy also has extensive experience defending directors and officers in securities class action matters, and he also represents companies and directors and officers in investigations and enforcement actions instituted by the SEC and other regulatory agencies. He also has experience with a variety of OSHA compliance issues common to the oil and gas industry, as well as other technology-based industries. Prior to attending law school, Randy was employed as a drilling fluids engineer and worked on offshore drilling rigs located in the coastal waters of Texas, Louisiana and California. Randy utilizes his “hands-on” experience in the oil & gas industry on a regular basis in his capacity as the outside general counsel of a small environmental start-up company based in The Woodlands, Texas. As general counsel of this environmental start-up, Randy has gained an in-depth understanding of the environmental issues related to modern shale gas drilling and waste water treatment. Randy obtained his law degree from Temple University School of Law where he was a research editor for the Temple Environmental Law & Technology Journal. |
